Our Lady of Peace School is a Catholic elementary school for children in grades K through 8. We accept children of all faith denominations on an annual school year basis.
Kindergarten:
All applicants are tested using the Early Prevention of School Failure Test. Parishioners of Our Lady of Peace, students from other Catholic parishes, and siblings of students already attending Our Lady of Peace School will be given consideration. New applicants must submit an application along with birth certificate, health records and if applicable, verification as to academics/behavior from a pre-school.
Grades 1-8:
New applicants for grades 1-8 must submit an application along with academic achievement and behavior records, from the previous school(s), along with health records, and birth certificate. Students may be tested in math and reading to determine proper placement.
The acceptance of any child into Our Lady of Peace School will be dependent upon the school's ability to meet the child’s educational needs. Reasonable accommodations will be made, if possible, to include the student in the Our Lady of Peace School Community.
Acceptance of students is done on an annual basis.
Students may not be accepted back if the following conditions are not met:
- Tuition payments, as well as other pertinent school fees, (ex: Fundraising, After School Program, etc.) remitted on time or paid up to date by the end of each quarter.
- Behavior unacceptable to Our Lady of Peace standards
- Students are on time for classes, more than 12 tardies for the year, may prevent a student from re-admittance.
Withdrawal:
Any student withdrawing from Our Lady of Peace School must be up-to-date with all tuition and fees before transcripts will be forwarded to the new school.
Any student expelled by the school shall not be given any refund on tuition or school fees.
Tuition paid by the Cleveland Scholarship and Tutoring Program tuition will be calculated per day and returned to the CSTP to be forwarded to the student’s new school. |
